Co-founded in 2016 by school art teachers, Andrea Rollins and Michele Hardesty, artSPARK is a TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) inspired studio, providing a unique art making space offering art + sewing classes, camps, parties, and workshops for toddlers-teens to explore ideas, techniques, and processes in Littleton, CO.

We strive to create a community of learners that values authentic creativity, and an inviting, non-judgmental environment. We provide a choice-based and process-based art program that focuses on teaching to think and work like an artist to make YOUR ideas happen.  It is our goal to connect with all ages in creative exploration no matter what art experience you may have. We know that everybody has a natural, innate need to create in some way. It is part of the human experience.


We have some exciting and transformative news to share regarding an important development at artSPARK Creative Studio.  As of April 12, 2024, our co-founders and co-owners, Michele and Andrea, are moving on from the business after a successful 8 years!

Heather Pridemore and Nate Breece, a wife and husband team, are the new owners of artSPARK Creative Studio. Please welcome them next time you are in the studio and click the button below to learn more!

Michele and Andrea will continue to be actively involved in the business for the next month and will be available to the company in a consulting role beyond that, as they both take some time to be with their families and pursue what is next. Collectively, our focus will remain on delivering outstanding art classes, camps and parties, and maintaining the excellent reputation of artSPARK Creative Studio. 

We want to assure you that the majority of existing employees will remain with the company, ensuring continuity in all offerings, so you may be provided with the exceptional standards of service and quality you have come to know. We are all committed to working together for a smooth and positive transition.  

We value the trust and support you have placed in artSPARK and want to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for being a huge part of why artSPARK is still here and successful today.  We look forward to being able to continue to serve you in the future under Heather and Nate's leadership, and are hopeful that this creative studio will grow in ways we could only imagine.  


artSPARK was built out of a need to provide the community with an alternative to other mainstream art studios. We teach how to think, not what to think; how to make, not what to make. It is a place for everyone to find their creative SPARK! No matter your age, ability, race, gender, sexual orientation, or experience, this is truly a place to grow, learn, share, and allow your soul to shine a little brighter. We treat each student as a unique individual and believe that kindness, patience, and mindfulness set the foundation for the best learning. Just Be Kind.

Due to continued popularity of our camps and how our offerings have evolved, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue summer camps for PreK/K.

Summer Camps will only be offered to those going into 1st-8th grade next Fall. If your 8th grader just finished and will still benefit from another summer with us, we are happy to have them.

Start today to boost self-esteem and raise creative thinkers with 21st century skills. 

Hours vary based on scheduled offerings. It is best to enroll online as we cannot guarantee space for drop-ins, and many offerings are not available for drop-ins.

 

Not sure where to start?

Open Studio (all ages) is offered every weekend on a Saturday or a Sunday morning and a great way to check out the studio.

Other one-time commitments: Drop off for a weekend Kids Art Nite or Little Kids Art Nite, or join a Seasonal Workshop!

You will not be disappointed with a class at Art Spark! My daughters have both recently taken a class. My middle schooler took a drawing and painting class and loved it! She said that everyone was so supportive or her ideas and drawings and it made her feel so good! My 10 year old took a crochet/embroidery/weaving class and now embroideries on everything! This place is truly amazing! The instructors love what they do, they are so patient with the kids, and they will do whatever they can to help a young artist bring her vision to life. My son often talks about how he wishes he could go to artSPARK more (and made me organize our art supplies for a mini “artSPARK” set up in our basement! LOL), but I much prefer going there so I don’t have to clean! I also think that having artSPARK has allowed him to love art and think of himself as an artist, so that when he does canned projects at school, he’s like, “ya, I don’t like that. That’s not art.”

I just picked my girls (8 and 6 yrs old) from their first camp at artSPARK. They loved it and were asking to go again before we were even in the car. They did several projects and learned new techniques - their favorite new thing was using a glue gun. The co-owner Michele, who is a former school art teacher taught the entire class (i.e. they got instruction from a very experienced and knowledgeable leader). My 8 yr old was also excited to have made a new friend with one of the other campers. We’ve already purchased and signed up for several future camps.
